Harris Faulkner (Full Name: Harris Kimberley Faulkner) is a popular American conservative newscaster and television host. In 2005, she joined the Fox News Channel. She is the anchor of  The Faulkner Focus a daily daytime show, and Outnumbered host. In addition, Harris hosts her primetime political franchise named Town Hall America with Harris Faulkner.

She has won six Emmy Awards, such as the 2005 Upper Midwest Emmy Awards for Best Newscaster (nominee) and Best News Special (recipient). Her debut was at LA Weekly, where she worked as a freelance business writer for $50 for each article. Harris began her television career with an internship at KCOP-TV in Los Angeles, doing small tasks, then went to Greenville, North Carolina, to serve as a reporter and anchor at WNCT-TV.

From 1992 until 2000, Harris worked for Kansas City’s WDAF-TV as an evening anchor. During her time in Kansas City, she was the sufferer of harassment and hunting by a retired acquaintance who went after her from North Carolina. Her next stop was at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis–Saint Paul, where she worked as part of an evening anchor team. Harris departed the station in July 2004.

Harris was born at Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Georgia. Her father, retired Lieutenant Colonel Harris Bobby Rodgers, worked as an army aviator and US Army officer. She worked three tours in Vietnam but was stationed at the base. Harris’ mother, Temple Shirley Harris, was a homemaker. She lived in different places as a kid, including Stuttgart, West Germany.

Her father, Bob Harris, finished flight school at Georgia Tech and was deployed to Stuttgart (where Faulkner did some schooling). Her parents settled in Texas, where her father continued inspiring the next generation as a math and physics teacher.
