Sister Dede Byrne (Real name: Mary Deirdre Byrne) is an American general surgeon, a missionary with the Little Workers of the Sacred Hearts, and former Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. She is set to speak at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on August 26, 2020, in favor of Donald Trump’s reelection as United States President.

She rose to the rank of colonel and served for 13 months in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
