Clarence Henderson is an American former U.S. Army soldier and civil rights activist.  He is currently the president of the Frederick Douglass Foundation while also serving as the National Spokesperson for the Douglass Leadership Institute.

Henderson is a staunch Trump enthusiast who is set to take the stage as a speaker on August 26, 2020, at the Republican National Convention (RNC). However, he has always been sharply criticized for that stand.

In 1960, I participated in the sit-in at the Woolworth Diner in Greensboro. As a student attending North Carolina A&T University, I experienced the cruel, vicious reality of segregation first hand.
