  • 3 eggs

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped

Directions
First, mix the first five ingredients and pour them into greased, parchment-lined 9×13 cake pan. Then spread half of the cake mix (dry) over the batter, sprinkle with nuts and the remaining cake mix. Then pour melted butter over top. For 50 minutes bake in a 350-degree oven. When cool loosen the pumpkin crunch from the side of the pan with a knife. Invert pan onto platter. Then top with sweetened cream cheese or whipped cream.

  • 3 medium carrots, chunked
  • 4potatoes, chunked

  • 1cup flour, to dust meat (about)
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • mochiko sweet rice flour

Directions
Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper, then dust with flour.
Brown meat with garlic, minced onion, and celery leaves for about 10 minutes on medium or low-medium until well browned. Keep stirring to avoid burning. Drain oil. Add beef and chicken broth and tomato paste. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and let cook for about 1 hour, or until beef is tender. Add carrots and potatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Add onion chunks and celery and cook 10 minutes more. Adjust seasonings with salt and pepper. Mix some mochiko with some water (about 2 tablespoons each) to thicken if desired.
