Mary Calvi is a ten-time Emmy Award-winning American journalist who was born and raised in Westchester County, NY, United States. Apart from being a successful journalist, she is also an author with her best novel being Dear George, Dear Mary: A Novel of George Washington’s First Love.

She studied in the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Calvi graduated magna cum laude with a degree in broadcast journalism. She then joined WCBS broadcasting-television station where she works as a news anchor. She also worked with News 12 Long Island as a national correspondent for USA Networks.  Calvi is also the First Lady of the City of Yonkers.
