Jessica Moore is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist who was born and raised in Burlington, North Carolina, United States. Currently, she works at CBS 2 as an anchor of the weekend evening newscasts and WLNY 10/55. Jessica joined the CBS 2 news team in July 2016. Before coming to the station, she worked at KSNV in Las Vegas, Nevada for six years as their primary weekday evening anchor.
Moore began her schooling in her native North Carolina. She then joined Liberty University where she obtained a singing scholarship from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. Moore has reported from all over the country when working with WDTN in Dayton Ohio, WLEX in Lexington, Kentucky and also with KSNV in Las Vegas, Nevada.
