Kris Van Cleave is an American anchor and reporter. He currently serves as a congressional correspondent for CBS News in Washington, DC. Kris started his broadcasting career by serving as the producer of KTLA-TV/Tribune’s nationally syndicated “CyberGuy Report.”All through, Kris has earned nine regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and 12 regional Emmy Awards.
He also took part in ABC7’s team of reporters who won the 2010 and 2014 National Edward R. Murrow Awards for their breaking news coverage. Additionally, he twice won the Emmy Award for the D.C. region’s best general assignment reporter in both 2007 and 2010.
