Goldador ( also known as Lab Golden Retriever Mix, Golden Retriever Lab Mix, or Golden Lab ) is a large-sized hybrid dog created by crossing the popular Golden Retriever with a Labrador Retriever. Goldadors are used as service dogs, therapy dogs, and outstanding guide dogs due to their calm demeanor and enthusiasm for training.
This crossbreed will likely benefit from hybrid vigor that reduces the risk of inbreeding depression and susceptibility to diseases especially the stronger cancer genes devastating Golden Retrievers.
