He started Fellowship Church back in February 1990 out of a rented office complex prior to shifting to an arts center. The church then relocated into Irving’s MacArthur High School in 1996 to make room for 5-weekend services as well as weekly attendance of five thousand. In 1998, the church opened its first permanent facility in Grapevine, Texas, on a 141-acre (0.57 sq km) property.
Fellowship Church opened its first two satellite locations in 2003 in Fort Worth and Plano, Texas. Two years later, a 3rd satellite campus was launched in Dallas, Texas. Weekly attendance was over 20,000 between the four locations. The megachurch opened a satellite campus in May 2006 in South Miami, Florida, and in North Port Florida in the year 2017.
Journey Church in Norman, Oklahoma became Fellowship Church Norman in August 2018. Moreover, Fellowship Church hosted its first summer camp and retreat center in 2008 at Allaso Ranch in Hawkins, Texas. Ed and FC have hosted notable guests over the years.
