Dean Lawrence Kamen was born to his loving parents in Rockville Centre, New York, United States to his Jewish family. Kamen holds American nationality. His parents are Evelyn Kamen and Jack Kamen, who works as an illustrator for Mad, Weird Science, and other EC Comics publications.
