Brooke Gladstone is an American media analyst and author. Currently, she serves as the host and managing editor of the WNYC radio program called On the Media. Brooke has so far covered media for much of her career. She covered public broadcasting in the early 1980s for the industry newspaper called Current. Also, she reported for Cablevision as well as The Washington Weekly in Washington, D.C.

In 1987,  Brooke became part of the National Public Radio. She began her job there as an editor of Weekend Edition with Scott Simon. Later, Brooke became senior editor of All Things Considered. Brooke wrote a nonfiction graphic novel called The Influencing Machine. Josh Neufeld and others illustrated the novel in 2011.
