Amy Freeze is a popular American meteorologist who became the co-anchor of Weather Command on Fox Weather in 2023. Before, she worked at WABC-TV in New York City, New York as the weekend meteorologist Amy has filled in on ABC’s Good Morning America. From 2007 to 2011, she was the number one female Chief Meteorologist in Chicago, Illinois, at Fox owned-and-operated station WFLD located in Chicago.

Prior to joining WFLD, Amy served at NBC’s WCAU in Philadelphia as a meteorologist and co-hosted 10, a live entertainment show on NBC10. Over that period, she also served at Rockefeller Center in New York City as a substitute at NBC’s Weekend Today and MSNBC. Amy served in Denver, Colorado, at both KWGN and KMGH. She started her broadcasting career at KPTV on Good Day Oregon in Portland, Oregon.

Amy was born in Utah to her parents Bill and Linda Freeze. She has four sisters. She holds American nationality. In 1992, Amy graduated from Jeffersonville High School. In 1995, graduated from Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She also studied at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences.
