Bill Ritter is a legendary American journalist and television news anchor. Currently, he serves as an anchor at WABC-TV Eyewitness News in New York. Bill is also a correspondent for the ABC News program 20/20 and has been the co-anchor of the Eyewitness News at 11 p.m since 1999. Since February 2001, he has also anchored the station’s news at 6 p.m.
Bill joined Eyewitness News as a weekend anchor in the summer of 1998. In addition, he also worked full-time from Monday to Friday for 20/20 as a correspondent and ABC News. Prior to joining Eyewitness News, Ritter worked as a co-anchor of Good morning America Sunday at ABC News.
