Tom Llamas (Full name: Thomas Edward Llamas) is an American journalist currently working for NBC News as a Senior National Correspondent and Anchor for NBC News Now. In addition, he hosts Top Story, a self-titled show on NBC, and is also a fill-in and substitutes anchor for NBC Nightly News and Today. Tom joined NBC News on May 3, 2021.
Previously, he worked at ABC News as a weekend anchor for World News Tonight on the American Broadcasting Company. Tom left ABC on Jan 31, 2021. He joined ABC News in September 2014 working as an anchor and correspondent while reporting for all ABC News programs and platforms. Before that, Tom worked at WNBC-NBC4 in New York as an investigative reporter and anchor of the 5 p.m. newscast.
