Kin Shriner is an American actor who is best known for his role as Scott Baldwin on the ABC soap opera titled General Hospital. In December 1996, Plans to spin-off General Hospital but would be titled, Port Charles. Previously, ABC had passed on the idea of a GH spin-off proposed by  Claire Labine who is the former head writer of the series.  Tentatively the spin-off which they called GH2 was set to revolve around interns at the medical school across from General Hospital.
