Roger Howarth is an American actor best known for playing the character of Todd Manning on the daytime drama titled One Life to Live (OLTL). A character that won Roger a Daytime Emmy Award in 1994. Also, the same character is cited as an icon in the soap opera genre. Roger left the series in 2003 to join the soap opera As the World Turns, where he was given the character of Paul Ryan which he portrayed until the series’ final episode in 2010.
As a high school student, Roger was very active in the school drama department and performed in countless plays at school. Apart from acting, Roger played soccer until he was 19 and had a chance to play in other countries with the Puma Shoes U.S. National Soccer Team. He initially refused acting as a profession and instead studied political science at George Washington University. After one semester, Roger dropped out of college and immediately join an intense acting program at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center based in Connecticut.

After the character was written off in March 2021, Roger returned two months later this time with yet another new character i.e Austin Gatlin-Holt.
