Sheinelle Jones ( Full Name: Sheinelle Marie Jones) is a popular American journalist who is currently the news anchor and correspondent for NBC News. She also hosts the third hour of Today on weekdays. Sheinelle is known for hosting a Wild Child broadcast on The More You Know block on NBC.
Her first broadcast work was in Springfield, Illinois at WICS. Prior to going to work for NBC News, Sheinelle served at KOKI-TV, the FOX affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and WTXF-TV, the FOX O&O in Philadelphia. She worked at the Philadelphia station for over nine years.

Lately retired from teaching Drama following 17 years at Mayberry Cultural Fine Arts Middle School, she currently fills her days with reading and running around to stay busy.
