Rolonda Watts is an American Emmy Nominated Journalist, Actor, Voice Actor, Comedian, Talk Show Host, Author of Destiny Lingers, Podcast Host, Coach, and Speaker. She currently hosts a podcast called RolondaOnDemand.com,  Watts is best known for hosting an internationally syndicated talk show, the eponymous Rolonda. The show aired from 1994 to 1997. Watts served as on-camera announcer for Judge Joe Brown’s show which ended its run in 2013. 

Currently, she serves as the on-camera announcer for Divorce Court Show. Currently, Watts is in the process of shooting two films while five others are waiting for release. This includes her first starring role in the film titled A Mother’s Love as well as her leading roles in 25 Hill, Broken Roads, Soul Ties,  House Arrest,  and Christmas Mail. In the short film titled Return to Babylon, Watts portrays Josephine Baker. She also plays Hollywood legend Dorothy Dandridge in Defying the Stars.

Recently, Watts played the role of Betsy Holiday in Tyler Perry’s first animated film titled Madea’s Tough Love. Watts started her stand-up career between the months of June and August 2017 and was given a radio show on CBS Radio, Sundays with Rolonda. She then started starting her own web series  ROmance through YouTube. Additionally, Watts starred as a choir director in a principal casting role in Bounce TV’s sitcom series titled Mann & Wife.

However, his college years were interrupted by two years of service in the United States Army. Roland returned to college and earned an undergraduate degree after completing his military service. Subsequently, Roland earned a Master of Science degree from NC A&T and later earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He worked at Winston-Salem State University as professor and chairman of the Fine Arts Department but retired from the university after 39 years.

Later, she worked at WNBC and was nominated for an Emmy. Watts also worked for WABC-TV based in New York as an anchor of a weekly political forum and also as a reporter.

In 1987, she started working as a host of a talk show on Lifetime Television called Attitudes. The following year, Watts took a job on the newsmagazine Inside Edition serving as the senior correspondent, weekend anchor as well as producer.
