Nick Russo is an American meteorologist. He currently works as a weather forecaster at NBC12. Nick started working with the NBC12 First Alert Weather Team in October 2018. Previously, Nick served as a weather forecaster at NBC25 and FOX66 based in Flint, Michigan. He also worked at WOAY-TV based in Oak Hill, West Virginia before joining KMID-TV based in Midland, Texas.

Shoot, edit and write his own news stories based on a strict deadline.

From May 2015  to Sep 2016, WOAY-TV (ABC) hired Nick as their Chief Meteorologist based in Oak Hill, WV. While there, he anchored and produced weathercasts each weeknight meant for  5, 6, as well as 11 pm newscasts using Weather Central 3D. Nick lead a team of 3 meteorologists whose job was to train and mentor the station’s staff. Additionally, Nick assisted some News directors while hiring new weather forecasters, he was reviewing demo reels, conducted phone interviews, etc.
