Michael Isikoff is an American investigative journalist. He is currently the Chief Investigative Correspondent at Yahoo News since April 2014. Michael is an editor at large for reporting and investigations, he investigates national security, and money in politics among others.
Previously, he served as an investigative correspondent for NBC as well as a staff writer for Newsweek and the Washington Post. Michael has written two best-sellers books, “Uncovering Clinton” and “Hubris,” with David Corn about the selling of the Iraq War. Isikoff resigned from NBC in April 2014.
He had been prepared to break the Monica Lewinsky scandal, but several hours before going to print, the article was killed by top Newsweek executives. It turned out, that the story broke first on Matt Drudge’s Drudge Report the following morning.
