Before that, Nick worked as a weekday/weekend morning meteorologist for KING 5 and NWCN in Seattle. He reported all the major storms of the past few years, such as the Hanukah Eve storm, and the major flooding.
Prior to moving to Seattle Nick worked as a weather anchor at KVEW-42/KAPP-35 in the Tri-Cities and Yakima Washington from 2003 to 2006. At KVEW, Nick reported for about a year prior to becoming the main weather anchor. Nick produced and anchored the weathercasts for the 5, 6, and 11 for both stations, but was based out of the Tri-Cities. He also hosted Ultimate Yard Makeovers, and Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethons, and covered live from Detroit the week leading up to Super Bowl XL and during the game.
