Dori Monson is an American libertarian radio personality. He currently serves as the host of an afternoon talk radio show called the Dori Monson Show on KIRO-FM in Seattle, Washington. Dori started his professional broadcasting career by serving as a producer at KING-TV. He as well served as a sports reporter at KING-AM. Later, Dori moved to KIRO where he joined Pat Cashman Show.
Besides journalism, Dori served as the head coach of the Shorecrest High School girls basketball team based in Shoreline, Washington from 2010 to 2017. Before that, he served as an assistant coach for two years. The team compiled a 125-72 record during his tenure and this period was recognized as the most successful in the program’s history. Dori was recognized as the state Coach of the Year in 2016 after his team won the Washington state girls basketball championship.
