His career even took him to North Dakota where he held a Radar Meteorologist position that involved directing air traffic control. Matt posted a farewell message to his fans in Arkansas while announcing his decision to join 3News on Aug. 13.
“I am looking forward to the next step in my career as our parent company transfers and promotes me to our sister station WKYC Channel 3 in Cleveland, Ohio. To be honest I’ve teared up a few times about leaving as I close this blessed chapter in my life. A lot of cool things though are on the way!”
