Before, Matt worked as a weekday meteorologist at KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon. Prior to that, he was a morning weekday meteorologist at KVOA-TV. He was also a weekend meteorologist at WPBF News 25.

Having served at KVOA for a period of 4 years, being a two-time graduate of the University of Arizona, Matt knows the people and the pulse of the city.
H holds the AMS Seal of Approval – from the American Meteorological Society – and has served in Duluth, MN, West Palm Beach, FL, in addition to his stints in Tucson and Portland. Matt is an avid reader, a decent guitarist and despite his degrees from UA, a huge Michigan Fan
Matt also is a self-described deadhead having attended many Grateful Dead concerts while they were still touring. In addition, Matt would love to answer any weather-related questions and is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the weather.
