Apart from his forecasting duties, Mark is also an active member of the Connecticut Science Center since the time it was operating only a parking lot in Hartford. Additionally, he is also the host of the Cool Schools franchise on Wfsb. He has also participated in several marathons including Dallas White Rock, Greater Hartford, Oklahoma City, Chicago, Little Rock, St. Louis, and New York City. When he is not working at Wfsb, Marks spends his free time at the gym, occasionally swinging his golf clubs, and also running.
