Lisa Bell is an American journalist. She currently serves as the co-anchor for the late afternoon to night broadcast at News 6 (CBS-affiliated) based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She started serving the CBS affiliate WKMG-TV News 6 in January 2012. Prior to her current position, Lisa served as a morning anchor at Central Florida News 13. She as well worked as an anchor/reporter for WEAR-TV before joining News 13.
Lisa’s first paid news position was at KLEW TV where she served as a weather reporter. She secured the job after an approach from the News Director of her hometown’s CBS affiliate KLEW TV. The director decided to give Lisa a job opportunity after she gave a speech at the University of Idaho. Apart from being a journalist, Lisa also enjoys spending her free time at the beach, walking around any of Central Florida’s beautiful lakes, as well as traveling to new destinations.

She is no stranger to Central Florida. Lisa has been there since 2007. She covered the big stories that impact the community around her. Lisa became an evening anchor at News 6 in 2014. She started her career in the media industry during a chance meeting while still attending the University of Idaho. Lisa was giving a speech about the Boys and Girls Club and afterward, she was approached by the News Director of the CBS affiliate in her hometown of Lewiston, Idaho. The director asked her to become the station’s weather girl.
Eventually, her love for news took her to Pensacola where she served as a weekend anchor and reporter. While in the panhandle, Lisa covered Hurricane Ivan in 2004 as well as Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She as well flew with the Navy’s elite Blue Angels. According to Lisa, it was a thrilling adventure until the pilot successfully caused her to blackout several times. Since 2007, she has called Central Florida home.
