Larry Madowo is a Kenyan journalist, international correspondent, broadcaster, and writer. Currently, he is a CNN International Correspondent. Prior to joining CNN, Larry was the North America Correspondent for the BBC, based in Washington, DC. He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2020.
Larry was also ranked among the Most Influential Africans 2018 by New African Magazine. His successful career has included stints in New York, Nairobi, London, and Johannesburg. Additionally, he was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow in Business and Economics Journalism at Columbia University. There, Madowo earned a master’s degree.
