Previously, she worked for Fox 2 Detroit as a full-time reporter. Erika interned with Fox 2 Detroit during her time at Wayne State University (WSU) and reported the station’s newscasts at 5 and 6 p.m.
She began her career journey in Traverse City, Michigan after graduating from WSU. While there, Erika reported for a few months prior to launching an all-local, daily news-magazine show known as Upnorthlive Tonight in which she served as a one-man band, producing, anchoring, and also reporting. In addition, she also worked with WTCM-FM and NEWSTALK 580.
