Kelsey broadcasts the weather during the 5 PM, 6 PM, 10 PM, and 11 PM newscasts from Monday to Frida. Newschannel 3/ KEYT is a dual ABC/CBS affiliate in Santa Barbara, California. Winning the CBS reality show “The Amazing Race” is what Kelsey considers her biggest accomplishment.
She won the show along with her husband, Joey. Kelsey and her husband Joey raced around the world during the 21-day competition, where they competed against 10 other teams performing various challenges. The couple traveled to 10 countries across five continents. Kelsey and Joey covered more than 34,000 miles in order to win the race and a $1 million prize.

Kelsey reported live out in the field covering everything including the Solimar Fire as well as the Camarillo Springs debris flow. She also reported the Presidential visits and had the honor of flying with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
Since she launched her career in journalism, Kelsey has been honored with two Golden Mike Awards for Best Weather Segment. Also, she was nominated for an Emmy for best Weather Anchor after her coverage of the Thomas Fire. Kelsey has received two regional Emmys for covering the Thomas Fire and the Refugio Oil Spill. Additionally, Kelsey received an individual Golden Mike after her Spot News Coverage of the Ventura Oil Spill.
