Before joining Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2022, she was working as an anchor and reporter for WAVY News. While working there, she anchored the evening weekend newscasts as well as reported on weekdays on FOX43’s station, WAVY News.
Previously, Kayla was working for WJHG as a morning anchor and a fill-in reporter in Panama City before joining WAVY News in April 2018.
During her career as a journalist, Kayla has also worked with Gretchen Carlson at the Fox News Channel headquarters in New York City during the summer before college graduation. After finishing her internship, she was offered a full-time job as a Personal Assistant for Fox Business’s Kennedy which she accepted.
