Katy Zachry is an American journalist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. She currently serves as a reporter at NBC 10 Philadelphia. Katy has been with the network for the last 10 years since 2011. Before that, she worked as a reporter for 4 years at WFSB-TV Channel 3 from 2006 to 2010. Previously, Katy worked as a reporter for 2 years at KRQE-TV Channel 13 from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, she served as a reporter for 1 year at KBIM News 10 from 2002 until 2003.
Katy went to Bucknell University for her degree in Geography. While in college, she hosted broadcasting internships at WHYY based in Philadelphia. Also, Katy worked at other news stations based in Roswell, Albuquerque, New Mexico, as well as Hartford, Connecticut. Currently, Katy is a proud board member for Students Run Philly Style

Also, Katy spent weeks at State College while covering the fall-out, the trial, and Sandusky’s conviction. She was among several reporters who earned an Emmy award for coverage of the story which was not that easy.
