Before that, she served as a morning reporter and fill-in anchor for NewsChannel 9 ( ABC-affiliated ) based in Syracuse, New York. Julia became part of the Channel9 News team in August of 2018.
She joined the station as a reporter but was later seen regularly throughout the station’s morning show that airs from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. Prior to joining the channel9 News team, Julia worked as an MMJ for WUTR based in Utica, New York. While there, she covered the month-long murder re-trial of Kaitlyn Conley alongside the networks. Before that, Julia served as the Lead News Anchor/ Reporter at the University of Connecticut Student Television. There, she called in vote totals for the Associated Press on the night of the Connecticut primary.

As a UConn Husky, Julia served as an anchor as well as a reporter for their TV station, UCTV.
