While there, Andrew led WALA’s primetime newscasts as their general assignment/investigative reporter and fill-in anchor. He won an ABBY Award due to his series on missing mother Brittney Wood. He also reported on the April 27 tornados in Tuscaloosa, the stranded Carnival Triumph’s return to Mobile, Midland City hostage situation, just to mention but a few.
