From June 2003 to December 2009, he founded and ran the film website, The Movie Blog. John then went on to become the editor-in-chief of AMC Movie News from September 2008 to June 2015.
He was soon engaged by Complex to oversee Collider Movie Talk, which will launch in July 2015. He worked there for a while and was the senior producer, host, and showrunner for all of the shows.
