John Bolton (Full name: John Robert Bolton) is an American attorney, former Diplomat, Republican consultant, and is a political commentator. From 2005 to 2006, he served in the United Nations as the 25th United States Ambassador. Bolton also served as the 27th United States National Security Advisor under President Trump from 2018 to 2019.
