Jeffrey Toobin(Jeffrey Ross Toobin) is an American lawyer, author, blogger, and legal analyst for CNN and The New Yorker. He has written, the O. J. Simpson murder case that was adapted as a TV series, The People v. O. J. Simpson; American Crime Story that aired in 2016 as the first season of FX American Crime Story.

Toobin is best known for providing broadcast legal analysis for high profiled cases such as; the O. J. Simpson case where Simpson legal team planned to use the “race card” by accusing Mark Fuhrman of framing the evidence. He also provided an analysis of Michael Jackson’s child molestation trial in 2005.

In 1993, he started working at The New Yorker and became a television legal analyst for ABC in 1996. He joined CNN in 2002. He is an Emmy Award winner for his coverage of the Elián González custody saga.
