Jeff Gillan ( Full name Jeffrey Scott Gillan) is an American TV personality and a news anchor. He currently serves as an anchor for KSNV channel ( NBC Television affiliate). Jeff became part of the station’s news team in 2009. Prior to joining the station, he worked at KLAS-TV from 2001 until 2009. Before joining KLAS-TV, Jeff worked for 11 good years as an anchor at WKOW from 1990 to 2001.
Additionally, he worked at KFSM-TV from 1986 to 1987 before joining the WSLS-TV channel which he served from 1987 to 1990. Jeff’s employer was Landmark Media Enterprises from 2001 to 2009. Later on, he worked under Intermountain West Communications Company from 2009 to 2014. he currently works under Sinclair Broadcast Group since 2014. In 2006, Jeff won Pacific Southwest Regional Emmy Award for KLAS-TV. Additionally, Jeff inaugurated Las Vegas’ first business-oriented newscast named “In Business Las Vegas.” While in Las Vegas, Jeff covered the local fallout from 9/11, the rise and fall of local politicians, the housing boom and bust, gaming’s expansion, and contraction, as well as Southern Nevada’s recession and recovery.
Jeff carved a niche as a thoughtful and intelligent interviewer where his long-form interviews on “NewsONE” won him praise and offered viewers unique glimpses of newsmakers as well as issues.
