In Michigan, Jeanna covered the teams such as the Lions, Red Wings, Tigers, and Pistons. As a solo MMJ, Jeanna covered major college sporting events such as the Big Ten basketball tournament and back-to-back March Madness runs.

Also, she had a chance to travel with the Wolverines to the national championship in San Antonio. She also went with the Spartans in the Final Four in Minneapolis. Apart from college basketball, Jeanna traveled to college football bowl games in San Diego and in New York City.  Jeanna helped create the award-winning “19th Hole” when the PGA Tour Champions returned to Greater Flint. Jeanna covered a wide variety of professional sporting events while serving as sports director in Minnesota. Some of them are the Twin’s Opening Day and Kobe Bryant’s final game in Minnesota. Also, was an integral part of redefining KAAL’s presence in the local community.
