Jake Owen (Full name: Joshua Ryan Owen) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and actor. He signed to RCA Nashville in 2006 and released his debut studio album, Startin’ with Me, that year. The album produced three singles, all of which reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. They were, “Yee Haw”, “Startin’ with Me”, and “Something About a Woman”.

Jake’s second studio album, 2009’s Easy Does It, comprised three more singles: “Eight Second Ride”, “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You”, and “Tell Me”. In September 2011, he achieved his first number one hit Barefoot Blue Jean Night, on the country charts. It included “The One That Got Away”, “Alone with You”, and “Anywhere with You”.
