Ginger Zee (Other names Ginger Renee Colonomos) is an American meteorologist and a television personality. She currently serves as the chief meteorologist for ABC News. Before her current role, Ginger served as the network’s weekend meteorologist. She decided to become a meteorologist after seeing a waterspout on Lake Michigan when she was only eight years old. Ginger was mesmerized, she really thought it was the coolest thing she had ever seen.
At graduation, her major goal was to be a meteorologist on The Today Show when she reaches the age of 30 years. After her graduation from college, Ginger served various media outlets including WEYI-TV based in Flint, Michigan, WYIN-TV based in Merrillville, Indiana, WLAV-FM as well as WOOD-TV both based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
