Eli Stokols is an American journalist. Currently, he serves as a White House reporter for the Los Angeles Times. Before he joined the LA Times, Eli was working for the Wall Street Journal. He had the honor of covering the 2016 presidential campaign for the Journal. Eli became part of the WSJ’s Washington bureau in March 2017.
Previously, the journalist worked as a national reporter for Politico. Eli joined Politico in the spring of 2016. Prior to joining Politico, Eli covered Colorado politics for nearly ten years at KDVR. He also worked for its sister station KWGN-TV, in Denver, Colorado. While in Denver, Eli hosted a weekly interview show called #COpolitics: From the Source. Also, he wrote for 5280 magazines in 2013 and 2014.
