Doug Benson ( Full name: Douglas Steven Benson) is an American reality-show judge, actor, marijuana rights advocate, television host,  and comedian. He has appeared on various reality tv shows such as Trailer Park Boys, Best Week Ever, Comedy Central Presents, and Getting Doug With High. Doug was a contestant in the fifth season of the  Last Comic Standing Show.

During his junior and senior years, Doug collaborated with a friend on several 8 mm action/thriller short movies. From there, he joined a community college in El Cajon called Grossmont College. Later, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

He started doing stand-up while in Los Angeles after he and two other friends dared each other. One of the friends didn’t show at all while the other one signed up too late.
