Darcy became part of the News4 news team in 2001. Darcy joined the team as the station’s first Chopper 4 reporter whose role was filing stories from high above the Washington area.

In 2000, Darcy became part of the C-TV, the Prince George’s County news station, where she served as an anchor and reporter. Darcy anchored the evening news and also reported on stories from every corner of the County. On September 11th, Darcy was sent to Ground Zero in New York where she reported on the attack on the World Trade Center.
