Dan Jiggetts is an American sportscaster and former football offensive lineman. He was first drafted during the 1976 NFL Draft by Chicago Bears. Currently, he serves as a sportscaster for NBC Sports Chicago. Dan returned to WFLD-TV in September 2010 and is working as of Friday and Saturday sports anchor. In 1990 he was inducted into the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame with the class of 1990.

He played as an offensive tackle and was the 1975 football team captain. Further, he was named All-Ivy League three times and All-East twice as well as All-American by both the AP and UPI in his senior year.

Moreover, he left the team having played 98 games. He later moved to the Chicago Blitz and San Antonio Gunslingers in the USFL and played for one season for each team. During the 1982 strike, he was the vice president of the National Football League Players Association. He retired in 1985.
