He played for the Chicago Cubs for the remainder of the 2007 season. On November 13, the Chicago Cubs traded Craig to the Minnesota Twins for a player to be named later.

Later on August 1, 2008, the twins designated Craig for assignment and were released on August 8. On January 13, 2009, Craig signed a minor league deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
