Christopher still remembers the Puget Sound Windstorm of 1993 which became a big reason he wanted to study weather. He has published research in the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society and the Southeastern Geographer, and his research focuses on the communication of weather reports and hazard and risk perception.
Christopher’s career in television has taken him from Albuquerque, New Mexico, to College Station, Texas, to Austin, Texas, as well as now back home here to the BEAUTIFUL Emerald City. Weather and Mother Nature have a good way of keeping him on his toes and he looks forward to forecasting the challenging weather of Western Washington.
