Carolina Leid is an American anchor and reporter. She currently serves as a 10 News Nightside Anchor at WTSP-TV ( CBS affiliate) based in St Petersburg, Florida. Carolina joined the channel’s news team in March 2017. There, her role is to anchor 10 News This Event and Nightside (6 PM/11 PM). Before that, Carolina served as a reporter at WABC-TV from January 2008 to January 2017.
Prior to that, Carolina worked as a reporter at CFN 13 from 2003 until 2005. For nearly a decade, Carolina worked for WABC-TV based in New York City. She pounded the pavement there. Carolina was fortunate enough to take the lead on major stories of national interest, such as the story of a missing jogger Karina Vetrano, the story about the Sandy Hook school murders, and also covering the 2016 USA Presidential election.
