Bob McKenzie (Full Name: Robert Malcomson McKenzie) is a popular Canadian hockey analyst who works at The Sports Network (TSN) since joining in 1986. Being a TSN Hockey Insider and TSN’s Draft Expert, Bob covers analysis of the NHL on TSN telecasts, and at the IIHF World Junior Championships, NHL Draft, NHL Trade Deadline, Free Agency, as well as at six Olympic Winter Games.

In 1981, Bob left The Sault Star and went back to Toronto to get a job in the sports department at one of the mainstream papers. Even if Bob got a position as a copy editor in The Globe and Mail’s sports department, he was not given any full-time positions. In 1982, Bob was given a position as editor-in-chief of The Hockey News.

He worked at the magazine for nine years prior to joining the Toronto Star as a hockey columnist up to 1998. While working at the Toronto Star, Bob was covering from the Tampa Bay Lightning dressing room following a loss when he was requested to leave by Phil Esposito. Upon rejecting, a scuffle ensued and Bob filed a complaint with Toronto police claiming an attack.
