Fady Qaddoura is a Palestinian American Democratic politician from Indianapolis. He was elected to represent the 30th district in the Indiana Senate in the 2020 general election. This made Qaddoura become the first Arab Muslim lawmaker in the state’s history. In the election, he defeated his Republican opponent, Sen. John Ruckelshaus, winning 52.5% of the vote.
