Alex Horne (Full Name: Alexander James Jeffery Horne) is a British comedian best recognized for creating Raskmaster a series that won the BAFTA Award.
He is the current bandleader and host of a popular musical comedy band called The Horne Section. Previously, he hosted a weekly comedy podcast with the same name which aired its last episode on April 28, 2021.
He is also recognized for regularly appearing on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown together with his band. Other than his various profession, Horne has published several books including Sources of Masonic Symbolism (1981), and Wordwatching (2010) among others.
